Hello All,I thought I’d share why I wear it:I have suffered with depression since I was 13 years old. I went undiagnosed for years until I eventually put myself in hospital. I was told I had an 80% chance of dying and it was then and there that something inside me snapped. I saw that as my second chance and I have tried my best everyday to “stay strong” and not “bury my head in the sand.”
But that’s the thing with depression, it isn’t something you can get rid of, it is something you learn to live with and grow through. In 2018 I was diagnosed with PTSD, Anxiety and Chronic Depression. I was on endless medications and enduring Counselling and CBT, but nothing seemed to be working. With every little happiness came a big fall, but that was what I needed to hold on to, those little moments.
Anything in life, however big or small can trigger it. In January 2022 I moved to Wales from Birmingham and I had never felt so isolated or lonely. I had no friends, no family here, no one to talk to and work was rough, which obviously didn’t help my pre-existing illnesses. That was when I was introduced to the brand.
I was first attracted to the brand because of the tattoo inspired artwork. I had spent years getting tattoo’s just to feel something and Jack’s brand came with that (pain free I might add) and more. The quality of the products is great and the customer service is equally matched. It doesn’t matter whether it’s clothing, pins, prints or accessories everything is top quality. Everything is unique and all designs have their own independent charm.
